Hi there, I’m Kristen, a creative copywriter, fiction writer, and seasoned professional. I love helping small businesses and fellow professionals create copy that stands out and delivers the results my clients are looking for. Whether it’s engagement, untangling tricky lingo, coming up with creative CTAs, or just finding better ways to say the word ‘said’, I am your creative teammate to tag in.
TL;DR About Me
- I’m born and raised in Minnesota, so I’ll also opt for calling it ‘hotdish’ instead of ‘casserole’ and ‘pop’ over ‘soda’.
- I married my husband, Tom, in 2022, and we have one orange cat (Alphonse) and a toddler at home to keep us both very busy.
- I’ve been writing in some form or another since I was 12 – that’s a long time! I got my degree in English in 2011 and launched myself into marketing a few years later.
- When I’m not writing, I love playing video games, knitting, watching my latest Netflix binge, and trying to keep up a steady stream of books to read.
- While I primarily talk about my work writing, I have also done a lot of creative writing. I’ve taken part in multiple writing contests over the years, and I’ve made it to many late-round submissions.
